Kitui West Mp Francis Nyenze is dead. He was the former minority leader in the 11th parliament.

Nyenze has been ill and in fact carried an oxygen tank into the chambers for his swearing-in to the 12th parliament.

On the day of swearing in, Mr Nyenze arrived at about 10am dragging the tank behind him, with the tubes snaking up his back.
